A mesmerizing room with a view

Our stay in room 501 was highlighted by stunning views of the University campus and a peaceful atmosphere, allowing for restful nights after long days of exploration.

I enjoyed my stay in a spacious room with moody lighting that made it feel cozy, and I loved relaxing at the rooftop pool while soaking up the sun! The outdoor lounge area was also a perfect spot to unwind. Just a heads up, breakfast was a bit pricey for what's offered, so keep that in mind when budgeting. 🌞

I was disappointed with the breakfast options for $15. it really didn't meet my expectations. Additionally, there were no towels available around the property, and my request for towels went unaddressed until the next day. The light from the parking lot kept my baby and me awake all night, which made for a frustrating stay.

Unfortunately, the breakfast left much to be desired for $16, with limited options and a lack of variety. it felt overpriced for what was available. The hallway to the pool had a strong, unpleasant odor that detracted from the overall experience, and my shower was less than impressive with visible mold present. Additionally, I found the surrounding area to be a bit rundown, particularly the street behind the hotel, which didn't feel safe or well-maintained. The valet parking experience was also confusing – we ended up paying $50 but could've valet parked for $30 instead, which felt like a bit of a scam.

The Ac Hotel By Marriott Gainesville Downtown features a modern and inviting lobby, which made me feel at home right away. The spacious room and comfortable amenities catered well to my needs as a senior traveler.

the ac hotel by marriott gainesville downtown was excellent! the room was modern, clean, and super spacious. i loved the moody lighting and how polite and friendly the staff were. the outdoor pool and 24-hour fitness center were a great way to unwind after a day. the location is perfect, just steps away from the student ghetto.

Ideal for family visits

The rooftop pool is just FANTASTIC! It overlooks the university and gives you the best view of the Gator stadium. I literally felt on top of the world. And don't get me started on the staff, they are the best!

It wasn’t cheap, but honestly, for what you get, it's totally acceptable.

Ac Hotel By Marriott Gainesville Downtown offers a modern and spacious room that met my business needs effectively. The location is perfect, being close to the University and several dining options. The staff was courteous and efficient, particularly in assisting with my check-in and addressing any requests during my stay. Additionally, the fitness center and rooftop pool provided great facilities for relaxation after a long day at work.

The breakfast options were limited, and the dining area felt a bit cramped during peak hours.
